Past tense — present body — future dreams

Ritual

Archaeology of the Human — an evening of short-form contemporary dance.

About the piece

"Ritual" is a solo work about repetition as a way to survive and a way to remember. The same gesture, repeated dozens of times, stops being movement and becomes a language of the body, addressed at once to the past and the future.

Past tense, present body, future dreams: three states converge in a single figure on stage, performing its ritual in front of the audience — not explaining, only showing.
